I got my start in painting back in the old school laquer days doing
vehicle touch ups for friends and neighbors. It quickly turned into
painting truck roll pans--doing body and fender work and painting the
neighborhoods motorcycles. I am a self taught painter learning
through trial and error the art of custom painting. Nobody can teach
you how to mix paint for that one of a kind look, nor can they teach
you the disasters that will happen if you cut corners. You have to crawl
before you can walk so to speak. Moving to the south suburbs of
Chicago in the mid 80's, i soon had a following of hot rodders and
bikers wanting to update the look of their rides

Here at KERRY'S CUSTOM PAINT & GRAPHICS I feel that I put out a
great product, both in design and quality. I never ever cut corners. I
use only the best materials and I am constantly testing new products
to insure that I stay up to date with the current products and
techniques. I seal every job with epoxy primers or 2k primers. This
insures what I paint will never peel, crack or shrink. I go that extra mile
on every step of the job to insure a superior finish and shine. Every job
is finished with four coats of clear, then sanded and cleared again with
two more coats of clear. Then the job is color sanded and buffed to a
glass finish.

I do not paint mural themes--background themes--portraits, or real fire
on motorcycle tins. That is a separate art class within itself.
Sculls--logos--badging and lettering are all painted on your parts
using stencils. I do not use decals. Flames and graphics are all taped
out by hand one by one and are sprayed with the color of your choice.

I will not compare myself to other painters with the large overhead,
huge payroll, and the BIG HEAD to match. I have virtually no overhead
because everything is done by me. My shop is fitted with all the tools I
need to produce top notch custom paint jobs. From lighting to
compressors, ventilation to materials climate controle and the most
up to date spray equipment. I have my hands on your parts from start
to finish. They will not leave here unless they are PERFECT enough for
me to install them on my own bike. PERIOD. --- I PAY ME AND
NOBODY ELSE. THIS INSURES THAT EVERY JOB I DO WILL GET
THE UTMOST ATTENTION TO QUALITY & DETAIL. I HAVE TO.
MY REPUTATION DEPENDS ON IT.
